• Each rock is handcrafted using a fiber reinforced mix so that each rock is strong yet incredibly light

• Each boulder is realistic, durable

• Moon Rox will age naturally in their new homes, similar to natural stone products

 

Moon Rox are molded using a closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam base.  Each of the Moon Rox then gets covered in a hexagonal wire mesh armature.

 

Once that is complete and set we carefully apply a mix of paper, mortar, cement, sand, paint, clay and poly-fibers.

 

Each piece is then sculpted by hand for shape and uniqueness.  We then add custom colors according to the look of boulder you desire.
